When people ask, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" I always answer with "writer". When they ask "What are majoring in?" I say "creative writing". But in all honesty, I haven't written a story, song, poem, etc. in months upon months. Whats wrong with me? I feel like I'm losing my love, my life. Its like school has taken over my life. if I'm not doing school work, I'm sleeping because I'm tired from doing school work. I have no more ME time. No more time to just sit and read or write something. I try to at school during my lunch period, but there's always someone bugging me asking "Whatcha doing? What class is that for?" Can't I just be alone? Can't it just be me and my thoughts?
Why am I losing myself?

The Hunger Games left me hungry
You see it every were: on the TV, in stores, even on the radio. The Hunger Games, a wonderful book written by Suzanne Collins, was finally coming to the big screen. Thousands upon thousands of fans have been waiting for March 23rd to arrive from March 23rd last year!
I myself was one of those crazy fans who just had to watch it the first day it came out. I bought my ticket the day before and rushed home after school (even though the movie was at 10pm in the night) just to brush up on my memory of the novel. I quickly drove to the theater, ignoring every speed limit and keeping a constant 80km/h speed. My friends and I were at the theater an hour early JUST to make sure we had good seats (high up and dead center).
The theater doors opened and we ran up the aisle and plopped down in our perfect seats. The lights went dim and we squirmed in our seats, anticipated the masterpiece that was about to blow our minds!
And then it was over....literally. The movie was done and we were still waiting for the action!
"What just happened the last 2 hours? Was that all the introduction? When is the climax going to come?" were the questions we all asked each other in the last 5 minutes of the movie. Yes, we read the books so we knew what was going to happen, but we still felt unsatisfied.
The thing that annoyed me greatly was the camera work! At moments, it was extremely hard to see what was going on because the camera was shaky and moving in all directions. It caused my head to hurt and my eyes to glaze over. It felt like I was watching a bunch of blurs on the screen.
The creators also did not put into account the people who DIDN'T read the books and would not understand half the things that people who DID read them would. So I suggest if you want to waste your money to watch this movie, make sure you've read the book and already have a background on the story.
When the lights came on in the theaters again, I knew the movie lived up to its name. I was left feeling hungry. I wanted more! It felt like I went to a restaurant and only got half a meal that had poor presentation. It had it's moments, it's hint of flavour, but overall, it was a disappointment.

Ignorance is your new bestfriend
I'm honestly sick and tired of this Illuminati bullshit. Honestly, if the Illuminati was supposed to be a secret society, why would they be happy the world is talking about them?
Another annoying thing is people who haven't read a book or researched in their life are talking about the Illuminati like they are a member of it themselves. Interesting fact, the Illuminati was abolished over 200 years ago and the 'cult' consisted of scientists and philosophers including the infamous Galileo. I'm pretty positive that Jay-Z, Beyonce, Rihanna, or Lil Wayne (God forbid) are either of those.
I brought this point up on Twitter and a smart-ass (because you know, he went to university and has a degree in this stuff *heavy sarcasm*) continued to say that "they are not Illuminati, but instead freemason and freemasons worship the devil". You, my friend, are a complete imbecile. And when I brought up the point that they in fact do NOT worship the devil, his smart-ass said "oh, so what do they do then? Do your research!" I did you ignorant baboon, that is why I'm correcting you. I hate when people are trying to make you feel stupid, but in turn, they look like a complete idiot to believe in these conspiracy theories from the 1700s.
I hope stupid isn't contagious.

OOTD (Outfit Of The Day)
OOTD:
Black boots: Bought 3 years ago in New Jersey at an Outlet Mall
Black Tights: Mom's tights that I stole (very old and ripped)
Black Dress: Forever 21 (bought 5 years ago)
Vest: Bluenotes (Oxford shirt that I cut the sleeves off of)
Necklace: Gift from the Philippines
P.S. I wore a black braided belt with the outfit, but took it off when I came home.
P.S.S. Joseph Gordon-Levitt, if you're out there, just want to let you know I love you. That is all.
I've done it! *evil laugh*
I purchased Lights' new album! I'm listening to it as I type and Lord, it is good! A lot of her songs have a little dubstep in them which I love! Also the first single on the album Siberia (which the album was named off of) has this video game sound to it (if you know what I mean) and it just sets the album up perfectly. Right when I heard it, I knew that the whole album would just be fun to blast in my car or to just to chill in my room and listen to. Lights said her favorite song is Flux and Flow and I like it too, but I think the rapper on it ruined it for me. It was going good until this rapper came out of no were :(. I have no favorites thus far, but if I had to pick one, it would still be Toes. At least now I understand why it got so much good views.
Lights, you've done it again.

10 Things I Hate About You
I hate the way you talk to me,
and the way you cut your hair.
I hate the way you drive my car,
I hate it when you stare.
I hate your big dumb combat boots
and the way you read my mind.
I hate you so much it makes me sick,
it even makes me rhyme.
I hate the way you’re always right,
I hate it when you lie.
I hate it when you make me laugh,
even worse when you make me cry.
I hate it when you’re not around,
and the fact that you didn’t call.
But mostly I hate the way I don’t hate you,
not even close…
not even a little bit…
not even at all.
I believe I celebrated New Years Eve in the best way possible: watching my favorite movie "10 Things I Hate About You" twice....in a row. I mean, whats better then watching Heath Ledger and Joseph Gordon-Levitt (my new found love) in the same movie? I can't think of anything else...
The more I watch this movie, the more I relate and understand the main character Kat. When I first saw this movie at the prime age of 6 (don't judge me), I barely understood it. But now that I'm older and can understand and relate to the characters, I love the movie more and more. I love how in the first scene of the movie, Kat is blasting Joan Jett out of her car. This is me right there! There's nothing I find more liberating then blasting old female rock stars from my car speakers. Also, we both have strong personalities that seem to get us in trouble. I fought with my teachers plenty of times, but I can't say I got sent down to the office as much as her.
One thing I didn't understand is why Bianca would even consider Joey over Cameron. I mean, did she NOTICE how amazingly cute and sweet Joseph is? Good thing she made the right choice in the end.
Goal For 2012: Marry Joseph Gordon-Levitt

Got Me On My Toes
Am I the only person excited for Lights' new album? Her song "Toes" has been on replay for the last month and I can honestly say she is my favorite female Canadian artist. The fact that she co-wrote every single song on her album also adds to her amazing-ness. I love when artists write their own music because I feel like I have a personal connecting with them and I think "Hey, their going through the same stuff I am".
I remember when she first came out with "February Air" and 30 seconds into the video, I was like "Whose this skinny white chick? She'll be insignificant in a few months". Little did I know I would develop a mini crush on the songstress. And this is why one shouldn't judge a book by its cover.
Goal For 2012: Attend a Lights concert
