I hate the way you talk to me,
and the way you cut your hair.
I hate the way you drive my car,
I hate it when you stare.
I hate your big dumb combat boots
and the way you read my mind.
I hate you so much it makes me sick,
it even makes me rhyme.
I hate the way you’re always right,
I hate it when you lie.
I hate it when you make me laugh,
even worse when you make me cry.
I hate it when you’re not around,
and the fact that you didn’t call.
But mostly I hate the way I don’t hate you,
not even close…
not even a little bit…
not even at all.
I believe I celebrated New Years Eve in the best way possible: watching my favorite movie "10 Things I Hate About You" twice....in a row. I mean, whats better then watching Heath Ledger and Joseph Gordon-Levitt (my new found love) in the same movie? I can't think of anything else...
The more I watch this movie, the more I relate and understand the main character Kat. When I first saw this movie at the prime age of 6 (don't judge me), I barely understood it. But now that I'm older and can understand and relate to the characters, I love the movie more and more. I love how in the first scene of the movie, Kat is blasting Joan Jett out of her car. This is me right there! There's nothing I find more liberating then blasting old female rock stars from my car speakers. Also, we both have strong personalities that seem to get us in trouble. I fought with my teachers plenty of times, but I can't say I got sent down to the office as much as her.
One thing I didn't understand is why Bianca would even consider Joey over Cameron. I mean, did she NOTICE how amazingly cute and sweet Joseph is? Good thing she made the right choice in the end.
Goal For 2012: Marry Joseph Gordon-Levitt

Got Me On My Toes
Am I the only person excited for Lights' new album? Her song "Toes" has been on replay for the last month and I can honestly say she is my favorite female Canadian artist. The fact that she co-wrote every single song on her album also adds to her amazing-ness. I love when artists write their own music because I feel like I have a personal connecting with them and I think "Hey, their going through the same stuff I am".
I remember when she first came out with "February Air" and 30 seconds into the video, I was like "Whose this skinny white chick? She'll be insignificant in a few months". Little did I know I would develop a mini crush on the songstress. And this is why one shouldn't judge a book by its cover.

Arts-y Farts-y and Growing Up
When people ask me, "What do you want to major in?" and I respond with, "Creative writing", 1 in 5 people always say, "Oh, so you're an artsy-fartsy kind of girl?". No, I'm a girl that appreciates sentence structure, well laid out plots, and sarcastic, snarky characters (like myself). I also like photography, fantasy novels and indie movies, but whose counting?
Why do I always got to be labeled the artsy girl? I'm really not that creative at all. Well, I lied. I am creative when it comes to songs, poems, and stories, but if you ask me to draw something, you're out of luck.
Am I turning into a bohemian, hippie type of person? I sudden like baggy shirts, combat boots, round glasses and incense. Or maybe I'm just growing up... in a weird way.
I just feel so much different then the people I go to high school with. I feel like my mind-set is on a whole different level. They talk about Jordans, Drake, and Chris Brown, while I'm complaining about Paramore not being the same and how much I love Lykke Li and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. I don't even care much about celebrities personal lives anymore. The only way I hear celebrity gossip is if people tell me about it. When people ask me if I'm coming back for a 5th year of high school, I give them the dirtiest look imaginable. "HELLLLLL NO!" is exactly what is echoing through my cranium. I feel like I'm over high school now. I guess I'm growing up...

Hidden Treasures #1
Ever single person in the world loves a good deal and I found the best place to get high waisted jeans. Are you ready for the secret? Okay, its....
GOODWILL!
When I went to goodwill one Saturday afternoon (when they were having a half off day) I found nice high waisted jeans every were! I had a whole cart full after an hour. Of course I only left with 4 pairs, but there was so much to choose from. Most of the jeans there were Levis also so it wasn't like they were some cheap, no name brand. They were good quality Levis with no stains for only $6 (without the discount). You can also make these high waisted jeans into high waisted shorts. Definitely one of the best hidden secrets in Brampton.

Custom made shorts
Good day girls and ghouls. I haven't really updated this page a lot because I have recently become obsessed with my tumblr version of eatprayvintage. The only difference between the two is that this one is more in depth and I actually discuss things on it. My tumblr one is more simple and is basically just me reblogging a whole bunch of sexy pictures. But isn't that all tumblr is about? Reblogging a whole bunch of stuff you like? But anyway, recently I've become obsessed with buying old high waisted jeans or jean jackets and bleaching them and/or applying fabric paint to create different kinds of effects. My main goal as of now is to continue making custom denim and hopefully branch into accessories, tops, and more and one day, opening up my own store. Even if its just an online store (such as Etsy) for now just to get my name out there. I'm thinking of naming it Soleil (sunshine in french). Pretty, no?
Anyway, I hope you guys like the shorts I have already produced and will give me some feedback! Ciao!
P. S. I recently got waist length box braids! You know, the ones Solange was sporting around new years time? Ya, those. I did them myself also. About 2 days of constant braiding, but it all paid off since they look extremely nice and I get constant compliments on them. I will take a picture as soon as I'm not lazy anymore...

Teen Wolf=Big Wolf On Campus...?
![]() |
| Brandon Quinn, the wolf in "Big Wolf" |

| Tyler Posey, star of "Teen Wolf" |
Is it just me or is this new "Teen Wolf" show the same thing as "Big Wolf On Campus" from back in the day..? The plots are basically the same! Some hot high school jock gets bitten by a werewolf, they start to turn into one, and yada yada yada. Why make a new show and waste money on it when you can just show re-runs of the old one? What I just noticed though is that Big Wolf is a Canadian show that was only shown in Canada! America always take recycled Canadian shows and remake them as if it hasn't been done before. Its funny how their showing Teen Wolf on MTV when MTV is SUPPOSED to be a music channel. Do they even play music on MTV anymore? I must say that Brandon Quinn made a WAY hotter wolf.
Selena Gomez=STUNNING!
Though the Billboards were a couple weekends ago (and I actually didn't even know they were on), I must say that when I saw this picture of Selena, my jaw dropped open! She looks absolutely stunning! This Dolce&Gabbana dress adds such a mature, sophisticated look to her appearance. Some people criticized her saying this dress isn't "appropriate" for an 18 year old. Well, they obviously haven't been around much 18 year olds recently because this dress is definitely appropriate. Plus, it looks beyond stunning on her. Though, I do find it weird that she is dating someone 2 years younger then her, but to each their own. She is taking the right approach to branching into a more mature image.
